Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds TGS Presentation Shows Gameplay

Level-5 and Netmarble held a presentation for upcoming mobile RPG Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds during this year’s TGS Online. The presentation, viewable below in Japanese audio with English subtitles, was hosted by comedian/actor Hirai Yoshiyuki and actor Mimori Suzuko, with guest appearances from Level-5 CEO Hino Akihiro; Netmarble CEO Endo Yji; singer-songwriter Aska; and actors Chiba Shoya, Masuo, Kamiya Hiroshi, and Hanazawa Kana.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is an action RPG that puts players in the role of a beta tester for a virtual reality game, only for the game world they enter to appear to be real. Players are tasked with banding together to help rebuild a kingdom while defending it from monsters. The game is being developed using Unreal Engine 4. Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is set to be released for iOS and Android in Japan later this year.
