Atelier Ryza 2’s Exploration Diary Detailed

Koei Tecmo released new details and screenshots for the upcoming Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy. The new information primarily concerns Ryza’s Exploration Diary, which organises Ryza’s discoveries and helps her solve mysteries that in turn grant her new special alchemy recipes. As Ryza explores the ruins and finds Ruin and Memory Fragments, she unlocks clues for the diary. More clues can be found using the Compass of Recollection, which evokes memories of the ruins and displays the general location of a clue.

In addition, Koei Tecmo revealed that Lent Marslink, who appeared in the first Atelier Ryza game, will return for Atelier Ryza 2. In between the two games, Lent set out on a journey to improve his fighting skills, but has lost his cheerful demeanour.

Atelier Ryza 2 sees Reislin “Ryza” Stout depart her home of Kurken Island to travel to the Royal Capital of Ashra-am Baird and set up her own atelier to use as a base for her exploration of the land’s ruins. The game is being developed for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC and will launch sometime this winter. Those who purchase Atelier Ryza 2 physically or digitally during its first two weeks on sale will receive a code for the Summer Fashion Costume Set, while those who have save data from the first game can unlock the Classic Costume Set.
