Closed Beta for NieR Re[in]carnation Arriving Late July

Square Enix released a trailer for its upcoming smartphone RPG NieR Re[in]carnation, and announced that Japan will receive a closed beta for the game on July 29, 2020. Registration is available now until July 26, 2020, and Square Enix will accept 20,000 applications. Anything past that will resort to a lottery system to register.

NieR Re[in]carnation will follow a young girl in white who wakes up in a structure known as the Cage. The girl is accompanied by a floating being known as Mama that guides her around the Cage. There is also a dark monster that wanders the Cage that appears to have a hidden agenda. The game is scheduled to release for Android and iOS, though no release date has been provided.
