No Place for Bravery Announced

Publisher Ysbryd Games and developer Glitch Factory have announced top-down action RPG No Place for Bravery. Players control Thorn, an old solider looking to down his sword until he discovers that his daughter Leaf, who disappeared long ago, is still alive. He sets out with his foster son Phid on a quest that forces him to confront his past.

No Place for Bravery was initially conceived as a roguelike title in 2016 before being given a different direction and a narrative-focused compaign. Players are able to upgrade their character by defeating major encounters or discovering secrets, with the combat encouraging quick strikes and parrying. No Place for Bravery is expected to release for PC and Nintendo Switch in 2021.
