Fairy Tail Shows Magical Abilities

Koei Tecmo released new media for Gust’s Fairy Tail. The two-minute video and screenshots show some of the special abilities players will be able to unleash on opponents, plus some of the other elements of the game. Fairy Tail features skills called Unison Raids, which lets characters join forces to unleash combined magical attacks. It also introduces upgradable Extreme Magic Spells with their own elemental properties, as well as special Awakening Modes that give access to additional abilities.

Fairy Tail is based on the popular manga and anime series of the same name. The game will tell an original story within the series, where groups of adventurers called guilds earn money and fame by completing job requests. Fairy Tail is currently scheduled to launch for PC worldwide and for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Europe and Japan on July 30, 2020, with the North American console versions following a day later on July 31, 2020.
