Sakura Wars’ Demon Conflict Shown in New Trailer, Screenshots

Sega released a new trailer and screenshots for the upcoming Sakura Wars. The media focuses on the game’s “Demon Conflict”, in which the Combat Revues face their true purpose of fighting against the otherwordly demons and protecting their cities. Two higher demons, Oboro and Yaksha, look to be driving the latest incursion, with the latter bearing a striking resemblance to a previous character in the series.

Sakura Wars is considered a reboot for the series of the same name and takes place twelve years after the events of Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love. The game will be released for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe on April 28, 2020, and is available to pre-order now with both a physical Launch Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition.
