Mystiqa Launching for PC in September; Kickstarter for Music, Switch Version

Developer Julian Creutz announced that procedurally-generated top-down action RPG Mystiqa will launch for PC this September. In addition, a Kickstarter campaign has begun to help fund the music for the game — set to be composed by Dale North (Sparklite, Wizard of Legend) — and a Nintendo Switch version. There is a €3,500 initial goal for the campaign, with stretch goals including $7,500 for the Nintendo Switch version and $10,000 for a title theme composed by Hiroki Kikuta (Secret of Mana, Trials of Mana). The campaign is set to run until April 16, 2020, with those who pledge at less €10 receiving a digital copy of the game.

Mystiqa is inspired by classic The Legend of Zelda titles and will include local co-op for up to four players. The game will include loot and magic systems, as well as numerous dungeons and boss fights. A demo is currently available to download from itch.io.
