God Eater 3 2.30 Patch Trailer Highlights Phym’s New Story Episode

Bandai Namco released a new trailer for its upcoming version 2.30 patch for God Eater 3. The video highlights Phym’s episode in the “Encounters with the Past” story content added in the game’s recent and upcoming updates, with episodes focusing on Keith Pennywort, Neal Pennywort, and Ein set to be released in the 2.40 and 2.50 updates. The 2.30 patch, which releases on January 16, 2020, also includes three new Ashwrought Aragami to face off against, as well as some balance adjustments.

God Eater 3 is the third mainline title in the series, which sees players controlling the eponymous fighters as they take on monstrous beings called Aragami that have laid waste to human civilisation. The game is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, and includes solo play as well as online multiplayer with regular missions for up to four players and special Assault missions for up to eight players.
