Second DLC for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Introduces More X-Men

The second planned DLC for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will be arriving on December 23, 2019. A trailer for Rise of the Phoenix can be seen below and shows X-Men members Cable, Iceman, Gambit, and Jean Grey joining the game’s cast. The DLC will also add a Danger Room mode where up to four players compete to see who can take down the most bosses in the allotted time. New costumes for some of the playable characters will also be available via a free update the same day Rise of the Phoenix releases.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is a third-person beat-em-up RPG that features a large cast of characters from the Marvel Comics universe. The game released on the Nintendo Switch in July, and the first DLC, Curse of the Vampire, released in September. A third DLC named Shadow of Doom is scheduled to release in spring of 2020, with all three expansions being bundled together for $19.99.
