New Tangledeep Expansion Launching This Month

Impact Gameworks will be releasing a new expansion for roguelike dungeon-crawler Tangledeep later this month. The Dawn of Dragons expansion will be released for PC, Mac, and Linux on November 26, 2019. It will add powerful Ancient Dragon boss monsters as well as special Dragon Dungeons featuring new mechanics and layouts, a new whip weapon type, and new crafting and equipment upgrade options.

Tangledeep looks to combine 16-bit graphics with roguelike gameplay and was originally released for PC, Mac, and Linux in 2018, with a Nintendo Switch version released in January 2019. The game sees players setting out from the underground village to try and reach the planet’s long-forgotten surface, going through the titular labyrinthine Tangledeep in the process. Players have access to twelve job classes, and an Adventure Mode that removes permadeath.
