Fairy Tail RPG Announced

Koei Tecmo and Gust have announced an RPG adaptation of the popular manga and anime series Fairy Tail. The game will be heading to the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC sometime in 2020. An announcement trailer can be viewed below.

The Fairy Tail manga was created by Hiro Mashima in 2006 and has spawned numerous anime adaptations and video games, but this project marks first in the series to be given a major console release in the west. The setting features a world where guilds and wizards rule over most of society. The series follows the members of the eponymous Fairy Tail guild, particularly its new members Natsu and Lucy, as they adventure and rise up the guild ranks. More information for the Fairy Tail RPG will be provided at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
