Cris Tales Developers Respond to Demo Feedback

Publisher Modus Games and developers Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK have released a new video for Cris Tales responding to feedback to the Steam demo version released in June. The eight-minute video is introduced by Dreams Uncorporated CEO Carlos Rocha, before he passes focus to Executive Producer Derek Neal, who gives an overview of the feedback received from the demo and some of the changes that are set be made as well as some upcoming additions. As a result of the feedback, the availability of the demo, which was initially planned to be just a few weeks, has been extended to an indefinite time-frame.

Cris Tales is billed as a love letter to classic JRPGs. The game features a strategic turn-based combat system and aims to let players look into the past, act in the present, and watch as those actions change the future using protagonist Crisbell’s time-affecting abilities. Cris Tales is being developed for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and is set to be released in 2020. Those looking to read more about the game can check out Pascal Tekaia’s impression from E3 in Los Angeles.
