The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sequel in Development

At the very end of its E3 Direct presentation, Nintendo revealed that a sequel to 2017’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is in development. No further details were revealed, other than a teaser trailer showing Zelda and Link uncovering a mysterious force in a dungeon.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii U in 2017. The game focuses on its open world as well as crafting and physics and is also the first title in the series to feature significant amounts of voice acting.
