Mary Skelter 2 Switch Japanese Release Date Announced

Compile Heart announced a Japanese release date for its title Mary Skelter 2 on the Nintendo Switch. This comes as a sequel to the 2017 game Mary Skelter: Nightmares, in which a character named Jack crawled through dungeons as he fled the clutches of Nightmares.

Mary Skelter 2 features gameplay largely similar to the original but with some new additions and twists. Jack is back and he has a new trick up his sleeve for combat: transforming into a Nightmare himself. With this new ability, he can go berserk on enemies but at a cost. Jack will have to fight through and escape the madhouse of a prison he is trapped in.

Mary Skelter 2 launches in Japan on August 22, 2019, for the Nintendo Switch. The game has already been released on the PlayStation 4 in Japan as well. Additionally, it should noted that there are plans for the sequel coming westward, though an exact date has yet to be determined.
