Gloomhaven Goes Digital on Steam Early Access

Flaming Fowl Studios and Asmodee Digital have announced that their upcoming tactical RPG Gloomhaven is set to begin an Early Access period next month. The game is an adaptation of the board game of the same name, developed by Isaac Childres, which successfully completed a Kickstarter campaign in 2017. The developers have also released a new gameplay trailer, viewable below.

Gloomhaven is a tactical dungeon-crawler that sees players take control of a squad of two-to-four mercenaries who take on a world of darkness to heed the call of adventure and riches. This adaptation aims to translate the lore, mechanics, and identity of the board game into a digital format. The Early Access version will give players access to four of the game’s playable characters to challenge its roguelike mode, while the full campaign will become available upon full launch. The Early Access version will be available for PC beginning on July 17, 2019.
