The Outer Worlds’ PC Version Coming to Epic Games Store

Epic Games has announced that it has signed a deal for the PC version of Obsidian Entertainment’s The Outer Worlds. The deal will see the PC version of the game launch exclusively on the Epic Games Store and the Windows Store. Other digital PC stores will receive the game twelve months later.

The Outer Worlds is a first-person sci-fi RPG and is being co-directed by Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, original creators of Fallout. Players control a colonist who awakes from hibernation on their ship heading towards the edge of the galaxy. Finding themselves involved in a conspiracy that may destroy the colony, players will deal with various factions, making choices that will affect the outcome of the story. The Outer Worlds is set to be released in 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
