More Wizard’s Symphony Characters Introduced

Arc System Works has provided new information and images for its upcoming dungeon-crawler Wizard’s Symphony. The update introduces eight new characters in the game.

First of the new characters is Methuselah, who pioneered the Conductor industry, where guides take people on tours through ruins. He has stepped back from working as a Conductor but still adventures, primarily looking for a legendary kingdom called Gransca. Second is Malicia, a summoner who hunts for treasures in ruins and frequently has run-ins with main protagonist Alto. Joining Malicia are her attendants Therese, a half-catgirl, and Ferrin, who wears a full suit of armor.

The fifth character is Vasileus, a prodigy who is said to be the reincarnation of King Valis from Gransca. He leads a secret society of those said to be descended from the kingdom. Meanwhile, Canaan is the owner of the Yildiz Magical Store and skilled in making drugs and medicines. Claudia is in charge of the Sunbell blacksmith shop, and finally Liza runs The Left-Hand Blow tavern and is said to be a former adventurer herself.

Wizard’s Symphony is a revival of Arc System Works’ Wizard’s Harmony series, which featured three titles released in Japan in the late 1990s. The game is set twenty years after the events of the original game in a fantasy world that is currently experiencing an economic bubble as a result of an increased number of adventurers. Wizard’s Symphony will release in Japan on February 28, 2019, for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. No announcement has been made regarding a western release.
