Analgesic Productions’ Anodyne 2 Set for May

Analgesic Productions has announced Anodyne 2: Return to Dust, a follow-up to its 2013 retro RPG Anodyne, will be released in May 2019. Anodyne 2 features gameplay and graphics inspired by the PSX and 16-bit eras with players exploring 3D cities and landscapes as well as 2D dungeons.

Anodyne 2: Return to Dust is being developed for PC, Mac, and Linux. The game stars Nova, the Nano Cleaner, who is tasked with collecting a dangerous substance known as Nano Dust. Players will not need to have played the first Anodyne to follow the events of the second game, though there are some connections betwen the two.
