YIIK: A Postmodern RPG Releasing in January

Ackk Studios announced a release date for its latest title YIIK: A Postmodern RPG. The January 17, 2019, release date was revealed during the Kinda Funny Games Showcase with a new trailer for the game viewable below. YIIK will be available for PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.

YIIK is set in 1999, and surrounds the disappearance of Sammy Pak. Her last known moments are uploaded online, where she appears to be pulled out of an elevator by something extraordinary. The game is said to have a twenty-five hour campaign with a turn-based combat system featuring up to eight party members. The game is fully voiced and has a soundtrack with contributions from multiple composers, including Andrew Allanson, Calum Bowen, Toby Fox, and Hiroki Kikuta.
