We have in the last week seen a policy where even games developed in Japan must conform to other countries ratings in future developed games. And games like Mary Skelter retroactivively removing its Purification minigame in patches in the Asia version. We can all agree there is some very questionable and at times lewd content particularly from smaller companies. But it feels its crossing alot of lines imposing the new standards in Japan where its more culturally accepted.

A lot of older games, completing a task in a game was its own reward. Where as in modern games, for instance a long involving task won’t feel worth it without a reward at the end. What your feelings on this and balance of it.
