August wraps up with a busy week for new releases. Brand new titles arriving this week are Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Shadows: Awakening, Hero of the Kingdom III, and Fernz Gate. Meanwhile, Divinity: Original Sin II, Hyakki Castle, God Wars, Into the Breach, Sunless Sea, Victor Vran, and Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor become available on new platforms.

Sales and Discounts

The North American PlayStation Store introduces some “PS Plus Specials” for members of the PS Plus service. The PS4 titles on offer in the sale include Demon Gaze II, Dragon’s Crown Pro, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Monster Hunter: World, Okami HD, Shining Resonance Refrain, The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2, Tokyo Xanadu eX+, Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth. Both Utawarerumono games are also on sale on PlayStation Vita.

Europe continues the Games Under €20/£16 and Games Under €10/£9 sales, with discounts including Abo Khashem, Dark Souls III, Exist Archive, Fallout 4, Final Fantasy XV, Tokyo Xanadu eX+, Torment: Tides of Numenera, Darkest Dungeon, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Fallen Legion, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Songbringer, and Valkyria Chronicles Remastered. PS3 and Vita deals that would otherwise apply to the previous groups are shoved onto their own page and include Darksiders II, Dark Souls II, Ni no Kuni, Persona 5, and various Tales games.

The Xbox Store has new deals for Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Final Fantasy XV, Monster Hunter: World, Shining Resonance Refrain, The Surge, Okami HD, and The Council.

The Nintendo eShop in America‘s has deals for 7th Dragon III, Ambition of the Slimes, Crystareino, Etrian Odyssey Untold, Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold, Infinite Dunamis, and Shining Resonance Refrain. Moon Hunters and Bit Dungeon+ are the highlights of a limited number of RPG sales in Europe.

Steam‘s current sales include Final Fantasy XV, RPG Maker MV, Dex, Mages of Mystralia, NeuroVoider, and Halcyon 6. GOG.com has deals for The Witcher series, The Age of Decadence, Legends of Eisenwald, and Children of Zodiarcs. Meanwhile, The Humble Store includes offers on ClaDun, Phantom Brave, Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy, Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy, Disgaea, Criminal Girls, The Longest 5 Minutes, and Stranger of Sword City.
