Valkyria Chronicles Hits Switch in Japan in September

Seha has announced that it will be releasing both Valkyria Chronicles Remastered and Valkyria Chronicles 4 on Nintendo Switch in Japan on September 27, 2018. The news follows the announcement of a September 25, 2018, release date for Valkyria Chronicles 4 in North America and Europe for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The Japanese Switch version of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered will be digital-only, with Valkyria Chronicles 4 being physical and digital and coming with a discount code for Valkyria Chronicles Remastered.

Valkyria Chronicles Remastered is a remaster of the first Valkyria Chronicles game, which was originally released on PlayStation 3 in 2008. The remastered version was released in North America and Europe on PC in 2014 and PlayStation 4 in 2016. Valkyria Chronicles 4 is the latest entry in the tactical RPG series and takes place around the same time period as the first game.
