Earthlock Relaunch Hits Switch, PC; PS4, Xbox One Delayed

Snowcastle Games’ relaunch of turn-based RPG Earthlock is underway. The updated version is now available for PC through Steam, GOG.com, and the Humble Bundle, as well as on Nintendo Switch, where the game makes its debut. However, the process of launching the new version of the game, while also removing the old version from sale, has caused delays for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 relaunches, with the current planned relaunch dates for those platforms set out below:

PlayStation 4
North America — March 20, 2018 (confirmed)
Europe — tentative March 28, 2018 (unconfirmed)
Japan — March 15, 2018 (confirmed)

Xbox One
North America — tentative March 26, 2018 (unconfirmed)
Europe — tentative March 28, 2018 (unconfirmed)
Japan — tentative March 28, 2018 (unconfirmed)

The new version of Earthlock includes many enhancements to various aspects of the game, including a revamped story as well as new crafting options, side-quests, and mini-games and is priced at $29.99. All those who have purchased the original game before its release will receive the new version for free, though codes may not arrive until a few days after launch. A sequel, Earthlock 2, is currently in production.
