Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (March 29, 2018)

Welcome to RPGamer’s weekly digital round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.

New Releases

• Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings (PC, PS4, Switch)
• Bit Dungeon Plus (PS4, Vita)
• Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition (PC, Mac, Linux)
• Penny-Punching Princess (Switch, Vita) (Europe only, North American release next week)

A number of games make it out just before the end of Q1 2018, including the latest Atelier title, SaGa spiritual successor The Alliance Alive, and Nippon Ichi’s The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2. Another Nippon Ichi title, Penny-Punching Princess, also hits Switch and Vita in Europe before coming to North America next week. Meanwhile, Bit Dungeon Plus makes its way to the PS Store and MMORPG Tera hits consoles. Finally, Neverwinter Nights gets an enhanced edition from Beamdog, and Richard Garriott returns with Shroud of the Avatar.

Sales and Discounts

The North American PlayStation store features some PS Plus specials for Assassin’s Creed Origins, Lords of the Fallen, Okami HD, Pillars of Eternity, and more. Meanwhile in Europe, the Easter Sale continues for another week, featuring discounts on numerous RPGs including NieR: Automata, The Witcher 3, Skyrim VR, Child of Light, and more.

The Xbox Store features a big Spring Sale this week. Titles on offer include Borderlands, Fallout 4, Hand of Fate, Lords of the Fallen, Pillars of Eternity, South Park, Skyrim, and XCOM 2.

Nintendo of America’s sales this week include Crypt of the NecroDancer, Heroes of the Monkey Tavern, and The Count Lucanor. Nintendo of Europe continues last week’s eShop Spring sale, which includes Skyrim, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, Hyrule Warriors, and Monster Hunter.

The current Steam sales include the Deus Ex series, The Banner Saga, The Dwarves, Knights of Pen and Paper, and Dungeon Siege. Meanwhile, GOG.com just has some new titles on sale such as Wizardry, Gurumin, and Vikings: Wolves of Midgard. Finally, The Humble Store has some new deals with The Banner Saga, Chroma Squad, Grim Dawn, Darkest Dungeon, and Undertale included in the list.
