Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (April 5, 2018)

Welcome to RPGamer’s weekly digital round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.

 

New Releases

  • Minit (PC, PS4, One)
  • Penny-Punching Princess (Switch, Vita) (North America, released in Europe last week)

* Unless otherwise specified listed releases above are available in both North America and Europe.

The second quarter kicks off with a couple of new releases. Penny-Punching Princess hits Switch and Vita in North America after arriving in Europe. Meanwhile, old-school title Minit releases for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Finally, though not a new release, Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is also now available for PC through GOG.com.

 

Sales and Discounts

The North American PlayStation store features just the one RPG on sale in Absolver. Meanwhile in Europe, the Easter Sale continues for another week, featuring discounts on numerous RPGs including NieR: Automata, The Witcher 3, Skyrim VR, Child of Light, and more.

The Xbox Store features a new set of games in its Spring Sale this week. Titles on offer include¬† Assassin’s Creed Origins, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Dark Souls II, Diablo III, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Nintendo of America’s sales this week include Etrian Odyssey V, Gurumin 3D, Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse, a couple of 3DS Kemco RPGs, and a selection of Switch indie RPGs. Nintendo of Europe also has some Switch RPGs on sale including Crypt of the NecroDancer, Skyrim, and Oceanhorn.

The current Steam sales include ELEX, Torchlight 2, Expeditions: Viking, Seven: The Days Long Gone, and the King’s Bounty series. Meanwhile, The Humble Store has a few new deals, including The Metronomicon.
