Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (March 22, 2018)

Welcome to RPGamer’s weekly digital round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.

 

New Releases

Clearly the biggest release of the week is Level-5’s Ni no Kuni II: Reventant Kingdom, which arrives on PC and PS4. Meanwhile, after releasing in Europe last week, NeuroVoider‘s Vita version hits North America, while Earthlock‘s relaunch arrives on PS4. Elsewhere, VR RPG The Mage’s Tale releases on HTC Vive, tactical RPG Ash of Gods: Redemption hits PC and Mac, The Count Lucanor arrives on Xbox One, action RPG Enoch: Underground releases for PC, and 2006 action RPG Titan Quest finally makes its way to consoles. Also, though it’s not an RPG, Detective Pikachu hits 3DS.

 

Sales and Discounts

The North American PlayStation store’s “The Great Indoors” sale continues for another week, featuring discounts on various series and titles including Borderlands, Darksiders, Fallout, Mass Effect, and XCOM. Meanwhile in Europe, the Easter Sale begins, featuring discounts on numerous RPGs including NieR: Automata, The Witcher 3, Skyrim VR, Child of Light, and more.

The Xbox Store has all three Dragon Age games on sale for Gold members, who can also grab deals on Mordheim: City of the Damned, The Surge, The Technomancer, and Tom Clancy’s The Division.

Nintendo of America’s sales this week include 3DS titles Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns, ASH, and Code of Princess. Nintendo of Europe features a big eShop Spring sale including Skyrim, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, Hyrule Warriors, and Monster Hunter.

The current Steam sales include various new additions including Assassin’s Creed Origins, Cosmic Star Heroine, Crypt of the NecroDancer, and The Elder Scrolls Online. Meanwhile, GOG.com just has a single RPG on sale in Costume Quest. Finally, The Humble Store has deals on the Dungeon Siege and Deus Ex series, and has a big Square Enix sale of its own with various Final Fantasy titles, Dragon Quest Heroes, The Last Remnant, I Am Setsuna, and Lost Sphear.
