Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (September 27, 2018)

Welcome to RPGamer’s weekly digital store round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.

 

New Releases

A few new titles arrive this week, with Valkyria Chronicles 4 arriving on PC and consoles, Metal Max Xeno releasing on PS4, and Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Insomania: The Ark available on PC. Meanwhile, South Park: The Stick of Truth comes to Switch, with Kemco’s Revenant Dogma hitting PS4 and Vita in North America.

 

Sales and Discounts

The North American PlayStation Store has new PS Plus Specials on titles including Dragon’s Crown Pro, Grand Kingdom, NieR: Automata, Nine Parchments, and The Elder Scrolls Online. There is also a THQ Nordic publisher sale offering deals on ArcaniA, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Darksiders, ELEX, The Dwarves, and Titan Quest.

Europe continues many of its deals from last week. A Ubisoft sale includes deals on Assassin’s Creed Origins, Child of Light, South Park, and Tom Clancy’s The Division. A Games Under €20/£16 selection features deals on Tales of Berseria, The Surge, Mordheim, .hack//G.U., and The Technomancer, accompanied by Games Under €10/£9 that include Tales of Zestiria, Ys Origin, Zenith, Bound by Flame, Citizens of Earth, Shiness, and Anima: Gate of Memories.

The Xbox Store has new deals for Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion, Divinity: Original Sin, Lords of the Fallen, Mount & Blade, The Elder Scrolls Online, The Surge, Valkyria Revolution, and Vampyr.

The Nintendo eShop in America has deals for Adventure Bar Story, Code of Princess, Dragon Fang Z, Drancia Saga, Etrian Odyssey IV, Harvest Moon 3DS titles, Mercenaries Saga 2, Oceanhorn, and One More Dungeon. Europe has sales for Switch titles Die for Valhalla, Dragon Fang Z, Oceanhorn, One More Dungeon, and Nine Parchments, with 3DS sales TBC.

Steam‘s current sales include NieR: Automata, Pillars of Eternity II, Torchlight, The Banner Saga trilogy, The Elder Scrolls Online, Might & Magic, and Hero-U, as well as various others. GOG.com has just the one RPG on sale in Tower of Time. Meanwhile, The Humble Store has discounts on Lords of the Fallen, Borderlands, and Next Up Hero.
