Tactical RPG Wundertrench Receives New Trailer

During the Out of Bounds Showcase 2026, Entalto Publishing and Studio Scarmetal released a new trailer for isometric turn-based tactical RPG Wundertrench. The minute-long video shows some of the game’s combat and gameplay choices. It is currently available to wishlist on Steam.

Wundertrench is set in Ostvengr, a collapsing militaristic empire consumed by abominations of metal and flesh. Players control a squad of specialised units that descends into an otherworldly trench in order to harvest resources and technology. The game features a roguelike gameplay loop, with the Trench constantly reshaping itself and players encountering various events and hazards, as well as survivors from Ostvengr. The longer the squad remains, the more hostility they will face, with squads that fail to extract being lost alongside all they carry.
