Navinosuke: The Yo-kai Buster Reappears for 2027 Release

Happinet announced that it is partnering with Kohachi Studio to release Navinosuke: The Yo-kai Buster. The game is a creature-collecting RPG that began development in the early 2000s but went unreleased. The current development team has rebuilt the game for modern systems, and it is planned to be released for PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch in 2027.

Navinosuke: The Yo-kai Buster is set in a fictional version of ancient Japan inspired by local folklore. The game follows Navinosuke, a karakuri Onmyoji apprentice who travels across the land resolving yo-kai-related incidents. Players will encounter over two hundred different yo-kai as enemies or allies. Players build up their own part of yo-kai to participate in turn-based battles that use elemental affinities and a Shikigami system.
