Palm Sugar: A Village Story Releasing in August

Publisher 1312 Interactive and developer Monotusk Studios announced that Palm Sugar: A Village Story will release on PC on August 12, 2026. The story-driven pixel-graphic RPG, rooted in South Indian culture, will be available through Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. A demo is currently available through Steam. A console release is planned to follow at a later date.

Palm Sugar: A Village Story puts players in the role of quick-witted but awkward hero Seenu. He lives in the quaint village of Bellampakam, but his live is upended by a drug cartel overrunning his home, with Seenu forced to embark on journey and fight to take it back. Seenu is able to wield a variety of weapons that tie into rural life, such as sticks and slingshots, with the game also including numerous dialogue-rich encounters and various puzzles to solve.
