Dragonkin: The Banished Receives Free Dracomundus Purgatory Update
NACON and Eko Software have released a free major update for hack-and-slash action RPG Dragonkin: The Banished. The “Dracomundus Purgatory” update adds full Cross-Play across platforms with simplified loot sharing and shared progression as well as a new option for players to transfer their online city to offline mode, and vice versa. It also adds the new Dracomundus Purgatory challenge, which is accessible through a portal at the end of an endgame hunt. The mode sees players fight through three islands (from a pool of over fifty) and attempt to defeat all enemies before time runs out, including a final boss fight. Those who emerge victorious may be rewarded with one of the game’s new Voracious Weapons, which have unique passive traits and can be upgraded by sacrificing other weapons.
Dragonkin: The Banished released this March on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is set in a world corrupted by the blood of dragons. Players control a legendary hero who hunts down evil creatures that rise from the earth, eventually aiming to eliminate the Dragon Lords at the centre of things. As players progress, their character, equipment, and wyrmling companion will evolve. The Ancestral Grid allows players to obtain skills and place them in the grid to gain modifiers.
