Citizen Sleeper Games Coming to Switch 2

Jump Over the Age and Fellow Traveler announced that both Citizen Sleeper and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector are receiving dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 releases. Both games will release on the console on June 25, 2026, with owners of the existing Nintendo Switch versions able to upgrade for free. The Nintendo Switch 2 versions will include support for 4k resolution. In addition, Jump Over the Age will be announcing its newest title tomorrow — June 7, 2026 — during the PC Gaming Show.

Citizen Sleeper casts players as a digitised human consciousness in an artificial body, on the run from the corporation that owns them. They end up on Erlin’s Eye, a ruined space station on the edges of the interstellar capitalist society. In order to survive and remain out of the clutches of the corporation, players need to find work and build relationships with individuals and factions on the station. Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector takes players to a new location, where they control a new Sleeper, a company-owned android who has managed to flee to the Starward Belt, a remote asteroid cluster at the edge of the Helion system. Trying to build a new life for themselves, they will need to guide their ship and recruited crew through a system-wide crisis. The game features a larger area to explore than the first game, as well as new gameplay systems and mechanics.
