Citizen Sleeper Creator Reveals Signet City

Publisher Fellow Traveler and developer Gareth Damian Martin (Jump Over the Age) have announced “first-person fungalpunk narrative RPG” Signet City. The game is in development for PC and is available to wishlist on Steam. Its announcement trailer, viewable below features the song “Abandon” from Irish garage punk band SPRINTS.

Signet City is inspired by industrial UK cities in the 1980s. It takes place in the eponymous coastal city, which is in decline, and follows a parasite born in its bay that is able to inhabit human minds. Players control both the parasite and its hosts, choosing their paths and actions while managing resources and upgrading their skills and abilities. The game features tabletop-inspired systems with dice-based checks where the host’s emotions impact the chances of success.
