Gravastar Officially Announced

Developer Studio Atma has officially announced sci-fi RPG Gravastar. The game is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, though a release window has not yet been announced. It draws inspiration from nostalgic JRPGs as well as 2D arcade fighting games.

Gravastar follows Baird, a young orphan from the planet Aethera. He discovers that he is a Spectre, a rare being with power tied to the stars, and must learn to harness this power in order to save Aethera from a fanatic zealot. The game’s story is said to take over fifteen hours as players meet up with five playable companions and journey across the world’s continents. It features a fast-paced conditional-turn-based battle system that lets players perform powerful spells and combos.
