Ember Lab Announces Kena: Scars of Kosmora

Kena: Bridge of Spirits developer Ember Lab has announced a sequel to the action adventure title, Kena: Scars of Kosmora. The new title is planned to release for PC and PlayStation 5 later this year.

Kena: Scars of Kosmora takes place some years after the events of the first game, with Kena now a renowned spirit guide. Hoping to find answers regarding an affliction she has suffered her entire life, Kena travels to the island of Kosmora. When she arrives, Kena encounters a powerful spirit that breaks her staff, the tool that allows Kena to commune with spirits and keeps her alive. In order to survive, she turns to Kosmora’s forgotten form of Spirit Guiding, which manipulates the power of the elements using alchemy.

The game sees Kena pick up elemental spirit companions that travel with her and unlock new powers as their bond with her grows. New elemental gameplay elements add new combat skills and strategy, with players able to use Kena’s spirit companions and elemental infusions to overcome obstacles.
