Shadow of the Road Gets 2026 Release Window, New Trailer

Owlcat Games and Another Angle Games announced that isometric strategy RPG Shadow of the Road is planned to release later this year. The game will be released for PC, with a demo currently available on Steam. The announcement comes with the release of a new trailer, viewable below.

Shadow of the Road is an isometric strategy RPG set in a version of Japan with steampunk technology. Players take on the role of a master strategist behind a team of fighters, each member with their own motivations. While the forces of the Emperor and the Shogunate are fighting for control, a British trade conglomerate has its own agenda. Player decisions can put characters on different paths as well as impact their relationships.
