Nice to hear Wheels is starting to enjoy Hollow Knight. Never understood the Q&A team’s antipathy – though you are all entitled to your own opinions, and I never felt it invalidates my personal evaluation.
However, that said, what other games have you bounced off for some reason, only to find a new appreciation on a later encounter?
I always liked the art style and the idea of the game but the early always were kind of dull. I think once I hit city of tears and got some of the movement abilities it really started to click and now is among my favorites (you’ll hear me say more in 428). I still have complaints but its reputation is well earned.
