Successor Fully Releasing This Week

Playwood Project announced that roguelite tactical RPG Successor‘s 1.0 version will release for PC via Steam on October 24, 2025. The game, which has been on Early Access since May of this year, is available in both VR and non-VR. It will be available for $24.99 with a 35% launch discount applied for twelve days.

Successor features tabletop-inspired gameplay, with players taking on the role of a lord commanding a party of heroes through an adventure in a medieval fantasy world. The game’s combat is real-time, with players able to pause as they wish to give orders and unleash special abilities. It includes six story campaigns, plus an Adventure Mode that lets players create custom runs against different factions.
