Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment Reveals More Characters
Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have released new screenshots and details for upcoming The Legend of Zelda spin-off action RPG Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. The update reveals five new characters, with four appearing to be playable in the game.
Argasta is the intellectual head of the Gorons and a long-time friend of returning character King Rauru. Kia is a Zora princess whose excellence in martial arts and resolution offer encouragement to her people. Krafika is the head of the Rito tribe who may not be great at speeches, but has a strong sense of duty and is quick-witted in battle. The last likely playable character is Aldy, a member of the Gerudo tribe who begins the game serving under Ganondorf. Finally, Lanaria is assigned by King Rauru to act as Zelda’s maid. She is gentle, a fast worker, and curious about mystical beings.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a canonical tale in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom duology, telling the story of the Imprisoning War in Hyrule’s distant past, which ultimately led to the events of Tears of the Kingdom. The game will release for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 6, 2025.
