Hark the Ghoul Receives New Demo

Publisher Kwalee and developer Deep Denizens released a new trailer for first-person action dungeon-crawler Hark the Ghoul. The new version of the demo, which is available on Steam and lets players try out the opening parts of the game, includes updated visuals with the option to customise them with different aspect ratios and filters such as CRT and texture smoothing. It also adds new enemies, weapons, magic spells, and consumables, as well as a codex feature. Progress from the demo will be able to be transferred to the full game.

Hark the Ghoul sees players explore the streets and depths of Clergerac, a dark Victorian city. Players find various pieces of gear and ability to use, including swords, whips, pistols, cannons, artifacts, and magic, as they seek to uncover the city’s buried secrets. The game is currently planned to release in 2026.
