Vampiric Tactical RPG BYTE Releasing in October

Developer James Martini is released vampire-themed visual novel and tactical RPG hybrid BYTE on October 1, 2025. The game will be available for PC and Mac via Steam. A demo is currently available on Steam.

BYTE features an adaptation for Bram Stoker’s Dracula, taking place in Detroit, Oregon in 1990. It follows Jonathan Harker, who moves from New York City after being hired by Dracula to purchase properties using fax machines, telephones, and computers. Combat takes place when Jonathan needs to use hack into a computer and takes form of a grid-based tactical battle where he needs to accomplish tasks rather than defeat foes.
