Crux Diaries Announced

Developer Kravtology announced isometric turn-based cRPG Crux Diaries. The title is billed as featuring non-linear branching storylines shaped by player’s choices and skills. The game is being developed for PC, with no release window as of yet. It is currently available to wishlist on Steam.

Crux Diaries takes place in a totalitarian state inspired by Eastern Europe in the 1970s. Players take on the role of an individual who returns to their homeland to find their brother missing. As players search for the missing brother, they meet people from all walks of life and uncover issues threatening the country’s stability. It is up to players to support the authorities, join the resistance, align with rising criminal factions, or escape the country. They can also rely on diplomacy or brute force to achieve their goals, each choice impacting the story and its outcome.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
