Chrono Ark Deluxe Edition Coming to Nintendo Switch Next Year

Publisher PLAYISM and developer Al Fine announced a Nintendo Switch version for deckbuilding roguelike RPG Chrono Ark. Chrono Ark Deluxe Edition, which comes with all the DLC released for the PC version, will launch on Nintendo Switch digitally on January 29, 2026. A physical edition of the game, exclusive to Japan and available to pre-order on PLAYISM’s online store, comes with a 70-page artbook.

Chrono Ark is set in a world where mankind evacuated to an ark following a disaster caused by a black fog. It follows an amnesic girl named Lucy, whose sole memory is a message tasking her with operating a clock tower. Aided by an investigation team, she sets out to explore the devasted world and find the Time Shades needed to activate the clock tower and restore the world. The turn-based combat lets players control a party of up to four characters, with all skills and perks appearing as cards. Players can recruit twenty characters and use skill cards, relics, and Lucy’s unique abilities to avoid party wipe, which is said to reset everything. Chrono Ark is currently available for PC via Steam.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
