Empyreal Update Adds New Customisation Options

Secret Mode and Silent Games have released a free update for action RPG Empyreal. The update adds a new character called Mini Mage, who has been removed from the Monolith. In return for players giving him a place to live, he will allow players to transmogrify their armour, allowing them to change their look without changing stats. The Mini Mage also has extra wardrobe items for sale, while a new Illusory Orb allows players to change their physical appearance at any time for no cost.

Empyreal is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It sees players controlling an elite mercenary who is part of an expedition to an unexplored planet in a far corner of the galaxy. The expedition uncovers a giant monolith built by a lost civilisation, only to discover the monolith is not as abandoned as they believed. The game features three distinct weapon types that significantly alter combat, branching storylines, and level-altering items called cartograms.
