Empyreal Launching in May
Publisher Secret Mode and developer Silent Games announced that action RPG Empyreal will release on May 8, 2025. The sci-fi game will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, priced at $29.99/€29.99/£24.99. Its release date announcement comes with a new seven-minute overview video, which covers the game’s premise, character creation, combat, levels, and more.
Empyreal sees players controlling an elite mercenary who is part of an expedition to an unexplored planet in a far corner of the galaxy. The expedition uncovers a giant monolith built by a lost civilisation, only to discover the monolith is not as abandoned as they believed. The game features three distinct weapon types that significantly alter combat, branching storylines, and level-altering items called cartograms.
