Raw Fury Announces Regions of Ruin: Runegate, Releases Esoteric Ebb Trailer
Publisher Raw Fury had multiple titles appear during today’s The MIX Summer Game Showcase, including a pair of RPGs. Firstly, the publisher revealed 2D hack-and-slash adventure RPG Regions of Ruin: Runegate. Developed by Gameclaw Studio, it is a follow-up to Regions of Ruin and is available to wishlist on Steam.
Regions of Ruin: Runegate is set long after the glory days of the dwarven civilisation. Players control a lone dwarf looking to attempting to establish a new haven for their kin. They venture into the diverse former dwarven lands, finding resources and monsters while assisting fellow dwarves and recruiting them for their rebuilding efforts. Players can use different fighting styles, with various weapons, gear, and skill trees available.
In addition, the publisher released a new trailer for tabletop adventure-inspired title Esoteric Ebb, developed by Christoffer Bodegård. The “Meet the Cleric” trailer introduces the player character, the Cleric, and details how their stats will drastically impact their playthrough. Starting out as a menial labourer in the arcanepunk city of Norvik, which is on the brink of its first election, players are tasked with investigating an exploded Tea Shop. The game features open-ended quests with a wide variety of stakes, with actions and choices met with dice rolls to determine their success. Esoteric Ebb is in development for PC and is available to wishlist on Steam.
