Black Myth: Wukong Hitting Xbox Series X|S in August

Game Science announced that its action RPG Black Myth: Wukong will release on Xbox Series X|S on August 20, 2025. The game — released for PC and PlayStation 5 in August 2024 — will be available to pre-order from June 18, 2025. Game Science also announced that the game will be receiving its first discount soon. The discount will apply to the PC and PlayStation 5 versions, as well as to pre-orders of its Xbox Series X|S version, from June 18, 2025, to July 11, 2025.

Black Myth: Wukong is based on the Chinese novel Journey to the West. Players take on the role of Sun Wukong as they explore the realms and landscapes of ancient Chinese mythology while meeting familiar characters from the novel. Along with being able to use his staff to perform melee strikes, the protagonist can also use spells, magic vessels, and transformations.
