Everspace 2: Wrath of the Ancients Releasing in May

Rockfish Games announced that Everspace 2‘s newest expansion, Wrath of the Ancients, will release on May 12, 2025. The expansion will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for $29.99/€29.99/£24.99. It will be accompanied by new digital official soundtrack and art book DLCs for PC, as well as a Galactic Edition bundle containing the game and its expansions on consoles.

Set after the events of the main game, Wrath of the Ancients features a new story involving the destruction of human settlements and sees players venturing to the Okkar Homeworlds to find the truth behind them and prevent war from breaking out. Along with the new story, the expansion adds four new explorable star systems, a new pilotable ship, extra side quests, additional enemies, and more.

Everspace 2 is a follow-up to Everspace and fully released for PC in April 2023, with console versions following in August 2023. The game follows Adam, a clone pilot in the Demilitarized Zone of Cluster 34. Players explore the various star systems, undertaking main and side quests while acquiring and optimising new ships.
