Wuthering Waves Coming to Steam, Version 2.2 Update Releasing This Week

Developer and publisher Kuro Games announced that its free-to-play open-world action RPG Wuthering Waves will be available on Steam on April 28, 2025. Meanwhile, the game’s version 2.2 update will release on March 27, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile. The update’s release will coincide with the launch of the game’s MacOS version.

The version 2.2 update, titled “Tangled Truth in Inverted Tower”, adds a new main quest, companion story, regions, echoes, challenges, optimizations, and more. The additions and changes the update comes with have been highlighted during a livestream, which can be viewed below.

Wuthering Waves sees players waking up as a character known as Rover, who is joined by various fighters known as Resonators as they look to recover their memories.
