Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree Gets New Trailer

Publisher Knights Peak and developer Primal Game Studio released a new trailer for dark fantasy action RPG Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree ahead of its release next month. The minute-long video shows the game’s 2.5D graphics with quick looks at its combat mechanics and character progression.

Previously known simply as Mandragora, Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is set in the world of Faelduum, which is in decline as the boundary between it and another realm called Entropy fades, unleashing monsters into the world. Players attempt to take their world back from the monsters, using the legendary Witch Lantern to explore Entropic Corridors, parts of the world already claimed by Entropy. The game blends Soulslike and Metroidvania roots and features a branching narrative with multiple endings written by Brian Mitsoda (Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines). Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree will release for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on April 17, 2025.
